Product certification is the process of certifying that a product has passed performance and quality assurance tests, in addition to meeting qualification criteria stipulated in regulations or a particular certification scheme in the product certification industry. Product certification leads to an increase in consumer confidence, as well as global recognition. In today’s competitive environment, certified products are becoming key differentiating factors for specifiers and consumers.
 
STL is accredited by the Singapore Accreditation Council as a Certification Body for ISO/IEC 17065. In the area of product certification, STL administers the Public Utilities Board’s Water Efficiency Labelling Scheme.
